Model Trains

This service was introduced in 1923 but the name “Cheltenham Flyer” never enjoyed offical status, however, the name did start to appear on the trains headboards from 1931. The service ran between London Paddington and Cheltenham and became the fastest regular service in Britain with the GWR officially claiming in 1931 that the service was “the worlds fastest train”. The service eventually ceased during the second world war. This train pack represents the train in the early to mid 1930′s.
